Children are allowed on food tours.
DO I NEED ANY EXTRA MONEY ON THE TOUR?
If you plan to purchase additional alcoholic beverages, you will need cash or credit
card. You may also choose to bring cash to tip the tour guide.
DO I TIP THE TOUR GUIDE?
It is not required or expected, but the tour guides do greatly appreciate a tip if you
enjoyed the tour. 15% is standard in the service industry.
HOW MUCH WALKING IS INVOLVED ON THE TOUR?

Dress for the temperature and the walk. Some restaurants may lean on the dressy casual
side, but they understand you are walking to them.

No. Water will be served at all food stops.

There is enough food to make a meal for most.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT IS RAINING?
We have fun, rain or shine! We don’t like to party in tornadoes or hurricanes though, so
you will be contacted about a refund, if weather is severe.
WHAT TYPES OF FOOD WILL WE EAT?
Our partners have a wide rang of food offerings from casual, southern cuisine, fine dining,
Italian, and much more.
WHERE DO THE TOURS MEET?
Meeting locations vary depending on the tour. After booking your tour, you will receive
several emails. The first will be a confirmation of booking and payment invoice. The
second email will be up to 48 before your tour. This email will give you instructions on
where to meet, places to park, and who will be your culinary storyteller.
DOES THE TOUR HAVE ANYTHING TO OFFER A LOCAL HATTIESBURGERS?
Of course! Many of our customers are locals. They participate in our tours to learn about
the town they call home, to have the unique opportunity to meet new friends from across
the country, and of course, taste some deliciously authentic food.
DOES THE TOUR END AT THE SAME PLACE WE MEET?
No, the tour will end within close walking distance of the meeting point. You may choose
to walk (we will provide you with directions back), or take an Uber, or taxi. Most
guests choose to continue the party afterwards at a nearby establishment!
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE FOR ALLERGIES/DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
While we try our best to accommodate all allergies and dietary restrictions, some
restaurants have a harder accommodating certain restrictions than others. Gluten free,
vegan, nut free, and lactose free diets are hard for some of our restaurants to
accommodate. Please email immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can try to
find a substitution.
ARE TOURS OFFERED IN LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH?
No, we only offer tours in English. Please email us if you choose to bring an interpreter

HOW DO I REDEEM MY GIFT CERTIFICATE?
When you purchase your certificates, you will receive a special code via e-mail. When
you book your tickets online, enter that code at checkout.
ARE CAMERAS ALLOWED ON THE TOUR?
Absolutely! Our town and food are both very photogenic!
ARE BATHROOMS AVAILABLE?
Yes, bathrooms will be available at the restaurants.
